Craven Heifer – 2011

Posted on Updated on

Night Reviewed: Thursday

You need to earn your pint to drink here, as it is over a mile walk from the centre of town, however, such a walk usually increases your appreciation for a pint, so that is not necessarily a bad thing. However, due to it’s location, it is not really catering for walkers and most customers will probably be staying here, or have driven over for a meal. Due to this, most people were eating and the pub was set up for this purpose, rather than the consumption of ale.

Music was being played at a decent volume, although not the greatest selection in our view. Improved access for walkers has been put in which means you no longer have to risk your life on the road from Skipton.

Overall an OK pub, but for beer drinking there are plenty of better options closer to town.
